About Wild Spirit Ranch Welcome to the Wild Spirit Ranch. I'm Norm Fowler.
My wife Debby and I chose to locate in the Klamath County area
after retiring in 1994. For many years we had dreamed of buying
a piece of property in the woods and building a log home. You
know, someplace where you could look out the window and not see
a neighbor's house ten or twenty feet away. Well, like most people,
we got caught up in our working lives and raising two sons, but
through the years we continued to keep an eye on how the log home
industry was developing. Well To make a long story a little shorter,
we found property in this area and knew it was where we wanted
to live. We then started seriously looking at log home companies.
We knew from studying them that we wanted a "Swedish Cope"
style log structure. After a frustrating experience with another
log home company we contacted Snake River Log Homes and were impressed
with their helpfulness and friendliness. In fact, we were so impressed
that we since have become Snake River Log Home dealers in Klamath

your questions answered. We moved into our dream home in June 2000 and have been very content with the comfortable feel of the house. We have been surprised by a few things that they don't tell you. Like how little shrinkage there is in Snake River's logs. The house doesn't creak like we'd expected. Like how quiet it is in the house. You can't hear a car go by on the road 300 feet away, or hear someone drive up the driveway (surprise!). So, if you like friendly service and a great
